I made one journal entry Dr Accrual: Fee in advance/ CR Fee income with Name of client included. but see nothing in Name column when I choose report Journal. why is this?

The QuickBooks Online (QBO) Journal report is designed to be a ledger-style report that focuses on the debits and credits of each entry, accounts620.

Although the Name field is a built-in filter associated with the reports, QBO is designed for making adjustments that prioritize the accounting impact of a debit and credit. That is why the Journal report doesn't show client names, even if you have populated them in the transaction itself.

You can browse through this resource to learn how to print the report: Print a journal entry report.
