Hi!
I've been experiencing this error 189 too. I haven't been able to sync my bank transactions for weeks now. I tried to message via the real time messenger (from the link you sent) but it always tells me that the Chat is Unavailable at this time. Can you provide me a number to call please?
This is causing a lot of inconvenience, hope it can be resolved asap!
Thanks.

Meantime, you'll want to manually import your bank transactions into the system. Just log in to your bank's website and then filter the dates you want download. Your bank may offer a few file formats. If possible, pick the QuickBooks Online data (QBO) format. These are formatted specifically for QuickBooks Online. You can also upload transactions from a CSV file. For a complete instructions on how to do this, you can follow the steps in this article: Import bank transactions using Excel CSV files.

The bank feed it has been very frustrating and when talking to the support line from QB, it was of no help. I am not able to connect and it has been 3 weeks and the issues are not resolved. Feedback was left on this 105 error prior to the online support chat and yet nothing has been done since 3 weeks ago till now. I am still encountering the 105 error. When it is time for month end closing, this is the most frustrating part. In the end, learn from OCBC that QB is not compatible with OCBC velocity so this explain why I have always been encountering this issues error issues.
I started getting such issues only last week. Prior few months have been OK. Not sure why this has popped up all of a sudden, and quite surprised (but also a bit relieved) that there are others facing this issue, even way back in January this year. Now...do I just wait it out and hope I'm able to connect again? Or do I raise a ticket? Or call in?
I'm here to share some information that can help you with resolving bank error, @ThePsychologyAtelier.

I know this hasn't been easy to have connection issues between QuickBooks and your OCBC bank,BCS2020.

I really did not expect this answer from your side. This is very dissapointing quickbooks team. All you needed to do is to have your account connect to OCBC bank account and see the issue and fix. Then provide the solution to QB customers like me.
Instead what you guys are trying to do is toss the issue to other party. Please take ownership and resolve it else let us know you cannot do it, then we can take a decision to switch to other applications.
Need your answer by 4th August.

Hi,
I am facing the same problem. Unable to update OCBC bank feed, how to resolve this? Other than the generic reply of deleting cache, incognito mode and manual upload?
thank you and look forward to your fruitful reply.
Hello, YT5.
I appreciate your time in looking through the suggested replies by my colleagues. I'll share and reiterate some information about the OCBC connection issue.
As what my colleague, MaryJoyD, mentioned, we currently have an investigation with the OCBC connection. The issue is that there are some changes in the banking website that affected the flow of transactions.
Our engineers are currently working to fix the issue as soon as possible.
If you haven't already done it yet, you'll want to reach out to one of our support agents. They'll add you to the list of affected users, so you'll receive updates and potential fixes about the OCBC issue.
Here's how to reach them:
After getting the fixes and successfully connecting your OCBC account, you can start managing your bank records for your books. Check out this article if you need help in the future: Categorise and match online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.
If you're ready to reconcile your transactions, I'll also include this article in case you need help sometime in the future: Reconcile an account in QuickBooks Online.
Please bear with us as we're working to fix the issue with the OCBC connection. Please let me know if you have any other concerns regarding your records in QuickBooks. I'm here to help.
I hear you, @gary1969a.
I want to ensure this matter is addressed timely so you can get your latest transactions from OCBC Business Banking updated in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
As of this time, the investigation regarding the inability to connect your account and update your transactions in QBO is resolved but the ticket is remained open to keep tracking unexpected integration connection problems. Rest assured our engineering team and together with our banking team is aware and they've been in all hands working to fix this as soon as possible.
Assuming you've been added to the list of affected users, I still recommend contacting our Customer Care Support whenever you're free while the workaround is not yet available. To do so:
For now, I'm including this reference so you're able to use QuickBooks features you're entitled to: Help Articles in QuickBooks Online. Also, you're able to read subtopics that will describe how a feature is used and how to accomplish tasks related to its functions like how an account reconciliation is accomplished.
We appreciate your patience as we're working on this banking integration and connection error. Please let me know in the comments below if you have any other questions. Take care and stay safe!
Can I check if everyone has this solved? seems like I am having the same issue. If i know, I would not have used quickbooks and I am a new subscriber.
