App not recognizing my paid subscription

I can't get my QuickBooks Self Employed app to recognize that I have a paid subscription. It keeps telling me that my trial is over and I need to sign up. I have deleted the app and turned my phone off and back on again, any suggestions?

App not recognizing my paid subscription

I'm sure you're excited to work on your QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) profile. We can do these steps to help you recognise your paid subscription on your app, AlishaDiaz.

 

Let's make sure you're using the correct login details where you paid for your subscription. You'll want to check all of your active email addresses for the confirmation receipt. Once you find the receipt, use it to log in to your account. If the same thing happens, try uninstalling and reinstalling the app to sync the latest product updates. 

 

To uninstall:

  1. Hold or long pres the QuickBooks Self-Employed icon. 
  2. Click on the (x) and select yes to uninstall.

 

To install:

  1. Go to the Play or App Store.
  2. Search for the QuickBooks Self-Employed app.
  3. Click on Install.

 

All information stored before uninstalling the app will stay. Then, when logging back in, please make sure to use the same login credentials with your QBSE account. To learn more about resubscribing your QBSE account, see the Resubscribe to QuickBooks Self-Employed article.

 

If the problem persists, I'd suggest contacting our Customer Care Support via the Assistant menu so someone from there can review your data and share the steps needed to reactivate your account. Here's how: 

  1. Log in to your QuickBooks Self-Employed. You can click the Assistant option or click the Help icon located in the upper right-hand corner.
  2. In the Help window, click the Contact Us button at the bottom.
  3. Enter your question and click the Continue button.
  4. Select Start a chat or Get a callback.
