Thank you for reaching out and sharing your concerns regarding subscription costs here in the Community space, Home. We understand that pricing is an important factor for our customers, and we appreciate your loyalty to QuickBooks.

Here in QuickBooks, our focus is to support the needs of small business owners and mid-market customers, especially in the face of shifting and changing markets. We are adjusting QBO prices to align with the market and so we can continue to invest in the product.

Currently, the option to reduce the prices of the subscription in QBO is unavailable. If your payment is on a monthly basis, you can switch to annual so that it won't be hard for you when the bill comes. Also, if you have plans in QBO that are no longer needed in your business, you can downgrade to a cheaper version.

Furthermore, we continually strive to enhance our offerings and improve value for our users. As we roll out new features and improvements, we hope to provide a more robust platform that justifies the cost for our customers.

Additionally, you visit our article that provides detailed guidance on how to manage billing, payment, and subscription information online.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support. We're committed to helping you succeed in your business.

QuickBooks has gradually raised its subscription prices in recent years, mainly due to added AI features and automation tools. The latest increases are expected to affect most plans in 2025. If the cost feels too high, it might be worth reviewing your current plan or looking into alternatives like Xero or Zoho Books.

Once you decide to switch to another program, you can purchase a 3rd party conversion service.
