I'm currently using QBs online, but need to manage our stock over several different warehouse locations.
Does anyone use a 3rd party app that can manage stock levels across the different sites? Ideally when we raise an invoice on QBs, we would like to chose which location the stock is to come from and update it automatically. Can anyone help, we're sinking under manual spreadsheets currently?
Hi @jl47.
It's important to have an application that can handle stock over several different warehouse locations and integrate it with QuickBooks Online. Since I'm unable to recommend a specific third-party application, I suggest utilizing the Apps menu in QuickBooks Online.
From there, you may search for an app that will suit your needs. Here's how:

In terms of cost, you should definitely explore this inventory management app
But you will need a connector to integrate data with QBO.

If you prefer to use a 3rd party app to integrate with QBO natively, the lowest price available in the market starts from USD 67/month.
Can anybody help us with why this simple functionality is not available in the basic package? Or at least some indication of when it will be? (We understand it is available for the US version.) Thank you for any insights!
ALL QBO version (including US version) don't support multi warehouse. You need a 3rd party inventory management app to integrate with QBO.
Do we know when it is likely to be solved?
I'm not sure this feature is on their roadmap. You also won't find this feature in other accounting apps in the same class as QBO without an add-on.
Hi Beatrix, thanks for joining this thread - you can use the location tracking feature available in QuickBooks Online Plus or Advanced (UK) - click here to read more on how to set up and use. :)
