1. Ask your accountant to transfer Primary Admin access to you.
2. If you can access your account as Company Admin, purchase a 3rd party service to migrate your data to a new QBO account.
Removing your old account from your account is pretty easy, Steve.
It is important to note that the Primary admin has the highest level of access in all parts of the QuickBooks Online account.
If your account is still under the management of your previous accountant and you wish to become the primary admin, I have two options available for you.
The first option is to contact your previous accountant directly and kindly request them to change the primary admin to either yourself or another designated user on the account. If your previous accountant is unavailable or unresponsive, you can proceed to the second option to submit a request to transfer the role of primary admin.
