Hi I can't seem to connect quick books to my hscb kinetic account Everytime I try it says not available in my country . anybody else had the same issue ?

Hello there, @userenquiries3.

I'll share some details regarding HSBC Kinetic's availability in QuickBooks.

The  HSBC Kinetic account is not yet supported for Open Banking due to some changes. I would recommend checking this article to keep you up-to-date about the availability of the bank account: Understanding if you can connect your bank feeds to Open Banking.

For now, you can manually upload the bank transactions using the CSV file to continue bringing them to QuickBooks.

First, download transactions from your bank by logging in to your bank's website. Then, follow the given instructions on how to download transactions and save the file on your desktop or anywhere you can easily find it.

Once done, you can import the data:

  1. Open QBSE in a web browser.
  2. Go to Settings .
  3. Select Imports.
  4. Click the import transactions link.
  5. Click Browse and find the file you downloaded from your bank.
  6. Select the file and hit Open to start the import.
  7. Review the column headers and data. Make sure the DateDescription, and Amount columns on the CSV match the columns and order in QuickBooks.
  8. Click Continue to complete the import.

Once done, review your transactions and categorise them afterward.

If you have more questions about your transactions or in Self-Employed, please let me know. I'm always here to help. Take care and stay safe, userenquiries3.
