QBO allows you to add users who help with your bookkeeping. To give an accountant access to review your company, you can invite them as a firm user. To do that:
- Go to the Gear icon and select Manage Users.
- Select the Accounting Firms tab.
- Enter your accountant's email and click Invite.
Your accountant will receive an email with a link to sign in to your QBO company. They'll be prompted to create a user ID before signing in the first time unless they already have an Intuit account.
If you can't invite your accountant, contact our QBO support. They have access to a screen-sharing tool to assist you further in adding your accountant as a user.
Furthermore, your accountant has special tools to manage your books, prepare taxes, reclassify transactions, unreconcile accounts, and resolve issues.
