I am using Quickbooks Online in the UK and would like to start over as I have loaded to much history - anyone know how I do that?

I am using Quickbooks Online in the UK and would like to start over as I have loaded to much history - anyone know how I do that?

I'll show you how to delete the data and start over, paul-mckay.

 

Purging is a process that deletes the data entered to your company file so you can start a clean slate. This process only works for QuickBooks Online Plus and Essentials subscription.

 

Before doing so, I'd like to let you know that you can only purge your account if this is active for less than 60 days. If it's more than 60 days, you'll need to cancel your account and create a new one.

 

Here's how to delete the data:

  1. Log in to your QBO Company.
  2. Change the URL and include /purgecompany.
  3. The summary of the deleted items will appear. Enter yes to delete the data.
  4. Select OK.
  5. Click Wipe Data.
