I've got some information about moving from QuickBooks Online to QuickBooks Self-Employed, bluebell81.
Because these two are distinct programs designed for different types of businesses, the option to switch from QuickBooks Online (QBO) to QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) is currently unavailable. Instead, you can cancel your existing QBO account and sign up for a new QBSE account.
Please note that the time QBO stores your data under our data retention policy depends on how your account was canceled. If you cancel your QBO subscription, your data will be available in read-only access for 1 year from the cancelation date. Therefore, I recommend exporting or printing your data before canceling your account. For more information about this, please refer to this article: What happens to my QuickBooks Online data after I cancel?
