The possible reason why you don't have the option to add your accountant is that you subscribe to a third-party provider such as Apple or Google Play( Check subscriptions with your app providers). If the subscription was from Intuit, you can directly invite your accountant from the Gear icon.
However, you can migrate your subscription to Intuit so you have the option to invite your Accountant. You'll need to cancel the subscription with your third-party provider and once it's your bill date we can move you over to QuickBooks billing.

Once you're done, you can now resubscribe through the web. Follow the steps below:
- Sign in to your account through this link: https://uk.selfemployed.intuit.com/login.
- Click the Gear icon and choose Billing Info.
- Confirm the billing information and CVV number.
- Select Subscribe to confirm.
