Hello there, sarah39.
Thanks for reaching out to us here in the Community. I’m here to provide some information about using the online banking feature.
Yes, you can connect an account even in a trial version. To link it, follow the step by step process in this article: QuickBooks Direct Feeds Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ).
I also suggest you disable the pop-up blocker to receive any notifications from the bank. Depending on the browser you're using, follow the steps in this article: Disable or turn off pop-up blockers.
Just as a heads up, the article is used by customers from the US but is also applicable in your region.
Also, perform a manual update to resolve the issue you’re experiencing with the Co-operative Bank. This will refresh the online connection.
- On the left panel, choose Banking panel.
- Select Banking.
- On the Bank and Cards page, select the account you’re having issues with.
- Click on the Update button located in the upper right hand.
- If you’re prompted, input the Multi-Factor Authentication credentials and select Continue update.
- Make sure to enter the information within 2 minutes.
These steps should help you get back to business in no time.
Let me know how it goes after following the resolution above. I'm here to make sure this is taken care of.
