I wish to downgrade my plan but I am unable to switch off multi-currencies even though I no longer use them, it says they are being used in transactions

I wish to downgrade my plan but I am unable to switch off multi-currencies even though I no longer use them, it says they are being used in transactions but I can't find them, it's also impossible to contact anyone at QBO directly and ask them to do this, the price has double in the last few years

Alternatively, you can start a new subscription and cancel the current one to downgrade your plan. This action requires you to sign in to QuickBooks Online as a primary admin.

 

Once you're ready to create a new company, proceed to these steps:

 

  1. Visit our QuickBooks homepage.
  2. Select your preferred plan.
  3. On the login page, you may use the same user ID and password that you have with your previous company or enter a different one.

 

After that, you can now start moving your list to your new file to reuse them.

if I'm going to have to start over again I may as well move to a different accounting package - which was my first option,

You can purchase a third-party service to move your data to a new QBO account with a single currency or convert it completely to another accounting app.
