Pop Up

I would feel the same way if I often see popups on the software I use. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

I'm going to let you send feedback from your QBSE account, so our engineers will know that you keep getting popups about the referral promotion. In this way, they can consider making changes in future updates.

1. Click Assistant in the upper right-hand corner.
2. Type in "Feedback."
3. Choose Something else.
4. Enter your feedback.

On the other hand, we have helpful articles for QuickBooks Self-Employed should you need them in the future.

So are you saying this annoying popup cannot be disabled?

I just came here to check if this has been fixed in the last year?

This pop-up is really annoying. It just doesn't pop up to be ignored, it covers most of the page, so there is no way to ignore it. It must be clicked away. Everytime the page loads, so does the pop-up. Hit the return button? Pop-up. Reload page? Pop-up. Go back-and-forth between tasks? Pop-up, pop-up and pop-up.

So how do I get rid of it? Because as is it's making sure I will not refer any friends I'd like to keep.

There's no setting to disable all in-product pop-ups, but some pop-ups will show the option 'Don't show me this again'. Please note, if you regularly clear the cache and cookies on your browser, or change browsers, these settings won't be saved. 

There is no 'don't show me this again' option on this pop-up. Maybe you want to feedback to your developers that this is needed?

Until then, what other ways are there to get rid of it?
