Hello Usermary-laffey, To confirm to send an invite to an accountant for access to your books you need to be able to access manage users. Is it the case you could before and now you can not? Do you get an error message? Are there other users that can access manage users on your company?
Hi, when I set up the account I had the option to link to accountant so I sent the email but it ended up in his junk folder and has now expired. I am the only user on the account but when I go into my settings I don’t have the manage users option and I don’t see an option to resend the original email. I’m not sure what to do.
Hi Usermary-laffey, Is it QuickBooks Online or QuickBooks Self Employed that you have? If it is the former and you are on a browser version rather than the app you should be able to see it, with you being the only user, if you can not can you clear the cache and cookies on the browser. If it the latter again you would need to be on the browser version and it will be in the cog in the top right under accountant.
Hi, I was using the app rather than the browser version but I switched and have now been able to re-send the email. Thank you so much for your help.
