When purchasing a product in QuickBooks Online, discounts are included in it that will last for a few consecutive months. When the discount period expires, the billing subscription will return to its original price. From there, they can also decide if they can give you an additional discount based on your subscription.

If you have to open a new QBO account, make sure to click the Buy button to get the discounted price for up to 4 months. If you purchase from the Trial account, you have to pay the regular rate.
