Unable to add Accountant to my profile

The reason why you will not be getting the add an accountant option is that you will be paying your subscription to a 3rd party so either Itunes or google play. 

We ask if you could either DM us on twitter or PM us on Facebook and we can send you the steps of what needs to be done in order to add your accountant to your self-employed account.  

Hello, I have just unsubscribed my APP account of Quickbooks Self-Employed. What do I need to do now with yourselves to subscribe so (i) I don't lose my data and (ii) allow me to add an Accountant?

I'm having the same issue with not being able to add my accountant on QB self employed. Or even having an add accountant button. I saw your reply, and unsure where or what the company cog is? Where could I find that? Would very much appreciate your help :)

Hi there, @Nicolewop. Appreciate you for joining the thread and notifying us of the issue you're encountering. Allow me to assist you and share some information as to why you don't have the option to add an accountant to your QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) account.

Currently, the ability to add an accountant is only available to QBSE accounts that are billed by Intuit. With that being said, accounts that are purchased or billed through a third party don't have this option.

With this, I would recommend transferring your billing to Intuit. You can achieve this by getting in touch with our Customer Support Team as confidential matters like this are best handled by them since they'll be asking some more questions about your account so the transfer will be performed. This is to ensure that we're keeping your account out of any fraudulent activities.

On the other hand, if your QBSE account is being billed by Intuit and you don't have the option to add an accountant, still, the best thing we can do is to contact our Customer Support Team as they have the necessary tools in looking at your account securely to find what's causing this and create an investigation if needed.
