Hi there, cwale52.
May I know if your client already has QuickBooks Online Account? If so, you can ask them to invite you as their accountant using your QuickBooks Online Accountant email address.
If your client hasn't set up an account yet or never use QuickBooks Online. You can add them to your firm using the same email so it will keep everything in one place. I'll show you how.

The business will have their own account and I’ll be adding myself as their accountant
but their one accounts email need to login into QuickBooks then show all for businesses separately
is that possible ?
Thanks for getting back here, @cwale52. I'd be happy to give additional information about your concern.
In QuickBooks Online (QBO), you can have multiple companies using one email address. Once you log in using that email address, you'll see the list of companies associated with it under the Select Company window. However, each company you add corresponds to an individual subscription.
To do this, you simply need to enter the same email address and password when creating an account for the 4 businesses. You can go to our plans and pricing page to create a new company and choose which QBO version you need.
