There is no option in settings to invite my accountant, what do I do?

I'm here to share some details about adding an accountant in QuickBooks Self-Employed, patrickthomas@li.

 

The option to invite an accountant is only available in the US version. To give them access to your file, you can switch to QuickBooks Online UK.

 

Once signed in, you can now invite your accountant.

 

  1. Sign in as a master admin.
  2. Go to the Gear icon on the top menu
  3. Select Manage Users.
  4. Choose the Accounting firms tab.
  5. Click Invite.
  6. Enter your accountant's info and press Save.

Then, QuickBooks emails an invite to your accountant, which contains the steps to access your account.
