Using Multiple Income Accounts for a product

Hello,

We sell our products on several platforms-our own website, Amazon, and eBay

In our previous accounts software, we were able to post the sale to the relevant income account from the invoice, so that we could track the sales on each platform individually-eBay sales to the eBay income nominal etc

I have not been able to find a way to do this in Quickbooks, the only option is to set the income account on the product details itself, but this means all our sales invoices will post to the same nominal, when I'd much rather be able to account for each sales channel individually, especially as we sell all our products on all our sales channels

I've attached a screenshot of how this currently works in Xero-you can see it's really straightforward to change the income account on each invoice individually

Using Multiple Income Accounts for a product

Hello Sgarrod,

Welcome to the Community page,

It is not possible to do what you want it to do in Quickbooks as Quickbooks doesn't work like that.
