Hi
I am getting this message when trying to set up bank feeds :-
Cash on hand is already linked to a bank feed. Select a QuickBooks account without an existing bank connection.
I do not know of ny other feeds from the account. I did try Xero for a short time and set up bank feeds but deleted the account. Any help please?
Kevin
Hi Knee555 (Kevin)
Sounds to me like you've already got the bank feed linked to an account, the Cash On Hand Account. Can you run the following steps for me:
At this point, go back into the bank feed and try again.
When you've put in your online banking information and answered any security questions, it should give you the option to select an account to link the feed up with, you should select the correct bank account in QuickBooks, if you've not yet created the bank account to link it too, you can create it at this point.
If you still get the error message, let me know please.
Thanks,
Hi
I do not have a box "Disconnect this account on save". I am using Quickbooks Online.
Kevin
Hi Knee555,
Thank you for getting back in touch.
You should also be able to disconnect the account on the Banking screen.
Please click the Banking tab, then the little Pencil icon in the blue box, then Edit account info. You will then be able to tick the box next to Disconnect on Save.
Please let me know if there is anything else I can help with. :)
On the banking tab there is only a screen saying "CONNECTIONS YOU CAN BANK ON", with green box to connect to bank.
Kevin
Managed to sort this going through dashboard.

That's great news Kevin, do let us know if you need anything further
I have not been able to resolve this. Keeps saying the GL # is already linked, but I don't have the 'disconnect upon save' option, and I can't see any options in the dashboard.
I'm having the same issues with a credit card. Its part of my same checking and savings account - same logins (which are linked) but the credit card was added later. When I go into edit the card in the COA it does not say it is connected nor is it on my banking tab (and does not show connected on the dashboard) but when I try to add it it says "xxx is already linked to a bank feed. Select a QuickBooks account without an existing bank connection." So I though ok I'll add it as a new card and try that, so I created a "new" credit card in the COA and it still gave me the same error message.
