Hi. I'm new to quick books and I've done something stupid. After linking my bank account I went to the bank page and deleted lots of items that were either to do with last year's books or that weren't really relevant to my business. I now know I should have entered them as uncategorized expenses and when I go to do my first reconciliation, which will be May....it's not going to balance. How can i bring the bank statement back in its entirety and will I have to match everything all over again. Please help me. I'm in such a mess !

Thanks for getting back, Nettynoo21.
We can still get the excluded transactions since they're not totally removed from QuickBooks. Let me show you how:
1. Go to the Banking page and click the Excluded section.
2. From there, you can click Undo.
These transactions will be back to the For Review section where you can add or match them.
Let me know how this goes.
Hello Nettynoo21,
There are 3 ways to get your downloaded bank transactions back. You can:
You can try either of those and you should be able to add or match them to your register.

Hi
Thanks for your reply. The bank account is already connected to quickbooks and I excluded items I thought were irrelevant. I've already matched hundreds of payments but need to bring back the items I excluded from the imported bank statement so I can put them as other expenses.
Thanks for getting back, Nettynoo21.
