Can’t link bank account saying oops

We're so delighted to have you here in Community. I will be providing you with some troubleshooting steps so you can link your bank account to QuickBooks Online (QBO).

If you are unable to locate your bank when searching, consider the following:

  • Several names from your bank appear on our list. Check that you've selected the correct listing or you tried every link. To ensure you're using the accurate listing, search with the banking sign-in URL.
  • Your bank does not support all account types (for example, business accounts vs. personal accounts).
  • Your financial institution is not a participant.

If you've tried all the options matching your bank's name and still can't connect, or if your bank doesn't appear, contact support:

  1. Go to Bookkeeping, click Transactions, then choose Bank transactions (Take me there).
  2. Click Connect account.
  3. Search for the name of your financial institution. If QuickBooks is unable to find your bank, you will get the message, "Hmm, we can’t find [name of the bank you entered] in our list of supported banks," and you will be presented with helpful tips to try and locate your bank account.
  4. If you’re still unable to find your bank, choose Request.
  5. Enter your bank's web address (URL) in the field provided, then select Request.

For detailed information, refer to this article: Find your bank or credit card account when you connect to online banking.

In addition, you can use QBO to create rules that automatically categorise transactions. It expedites the review process and even scans transactions to add details such as payees.

For additional QuickBooks-related concerns, don't hesitate to post them here in the Community. We're always available and willing to lend a hand to your queries. Have a great day ahead.
