Code 572 when I try to reconnect to bank account, so frustrating this is 3rd time it’s happened this year! I’ve tried reconnecting on website etc instead of app but still not working, can anyone help as QB don’t seem to care much

I appreciate you for getting in touch with us about the banking error in QuickBooks. I would feel the same way in that situation if the same problem reoccurs in the account.


The 572 error is something to do with the Multi-Factor Authentication or additional security requirements required by your financial institution. I'm here to help you get rid of the code so you can get back on track with downloading bank transactions automatically.

 

There are troubleshooting steps you can perform to isolate and fix the issue. I suggest starting by logging in to your bank's website.

 

Please check if there's ongoing maintenance or any notification that requires your approval. It will help us determine the cause of the issue on your end.

 

Also, I recommend reviewing the security information of your bank account. Ensure third parties like QuickBooks are allowed to connect and sync data.

 

Incase you're unsure how to review the settings, you can contact your Bank Support Team. They can verify your account and walk you through the process.

 

If the website is working fine and the settings are correct, please proceed with contacting our QuickBooks Support Team. They will need to check the error further on your behalf.

 

Here's how you can reach them:

 

  1. From the Assistant tab, type or say Talk to a human.
  2. If you want to connect with us directly, type or say Talk to a human.
  3. Then select your preferred support method: Message an agent (Live chat), Call an agent or Get a callback.
