Thanks for getting back to us, PJM2. For the purposes of reconciliation, you can create a dummy personal bank account in QuickBooks to transfer the funds from and to. To do this, click the Cog > Chart of accounts > New > Set the Account type to Cash at bank and in hand > Select your preferred detail type > Rename. 

 

After this, go to your Banking in QuickBooks and select your Business account - click onto the transaction in the for-review tab to review this and select Record as transfer > Select the personal account under *Transferred from. 

 

When you come to transfer this, create a manual transfer (+ New > Transfer) with the business account entered under Transfer Funds From and the personal account entered under Transfer Funds To. Check that the date and amount are correct and then save & close. The balance of the dummy personal account will now be 0.00 and can be made inactive from the chart of accounts.

 Hello PJM2, Welcome to the Community page,  Did you transfer it to your personal account after, if you did it all on the same day then you can just exclude it.

Yes, it has now but in a different month of reconciling month.
