The Purchase Cost is located on column J, please add this to your file or try downloading the sample file linked here to view this.

Thank you. I have this sample file but when I go to import it doesn’t match the purchase info.

Before that, have you received any error messages while doing the process?

 

Importing a list of your products and services from Excel, CSV, or Google Sheets can save you time and allow you to download purchases from the QuickBooks sample file. Since you've encountered challenges with this process, the first step is to identify the cause of the issue. One common problem with importing is mapping. Have you attempted to remove the specific cell causing the issue? Please refer to the screenshot below for guidance.

 

 

It is indicated in the photo that before importing them, delete this cell to avoid errors. In case you've done this already. Then, let's try downloading items in a private browser.

 

We can use an incognito window and sign in to your account there. If this option works, we can clear the cache from your regular browser. Here are the shortcuts to incognito browsers:

 

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Microsoft Edge: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Firefox: press: Shift + CTRL + P
