I lost account my account

all of my accounts have disappeared? nothing is on my accounts, informations from the past 3 years has gone.

I lost account my account

We can check your audit log to see what happened to your missing data, Trish. Let me guide you on how to do it and provide troubleshooting to fix the issue.

 

To begin, log in to your QuickBooks Online Company. Then, follow the steps below.

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Audit log.
  3. In the User dropdown, choose All Users.
  4. Browse the list to see if there are logs of data deleted.

 

If you cannot find any deleted data in the audit log, we can move on to browser troubleshooting. Your browser collects cache files to load websites faster for your next visit. However, these files can become outdated over time and lead to unusual program behavior, such as missing data.

 

To fix this, we can start by opening an incognito or private browser window. You can use the following keyboard shortcuts based on the browser you are using:

 

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

 

Once you have opened the private window, log in to your QuickBooks account to check if the data is displayed correctly. If it is, proceed to clear your browser's cache. This will remove specific issues and help the program run efficiently. Additionally, you can use other devices and supported browsers to ensure everything works as expected.
