Integrating Capital on Tap with QB banking?

Hi,

I've recently signed up to Capital on Tap (UK) for my business and employees. When doing this they heavily advertised easy integration with QB On-line. I've now tried to add the Capital account and QB doesn't recognise it as a registered bank...only the US version. Has anyone any experience with this or are you all just paying the Capital statements then doing split transactions in QB? Thanks in advance.

Integrating Capital on Tap with QB banking?

Hello Epixx, Any banks that we have confirmed can integrate with Quickbooks Online UK are mentioned here Unfortunately Capital on Tap is not one of them.  We welcome users who have Capital on Tap and Quickbooks Online UK to add any solutions they found to this thread.

I have exactly the same issue. I spoke to Capital on Tap about this and first advisor I spoke with incorrectly suggested that the integration was dependent on what QuickBooks plan you have. The second advisor wasn't aware that a Capital on Tap US integration already existed, and couldn't explain why Capital on Tap UK didn't have one of their own. Frustrating, because Capital on Tap do have an integration for Xero, as shown below:

I'm hoping that QuickBooks and Capital on Tap start working together to get this integration implemented. I've submitted my request to QuickBooks asking that they support Capital on Tap UK.

This is an email sent by Capital on Tap today which implies the live integration with QuickBooks is already available:

The integration with Capital on Tap (UK) does work, but you do not add it as a bank account. I Have just been looking through, and I can not find anywhere in Quickbooks where it mentions my Captial On Tap connection. I think I set it up from the Capital ON Tap Portal under accounting, but Quickbooks is no longer there as an option. I seem to remember it pushes the transactions into the account, rather than pulling as my other bank accounts do.

It is working for me right now, but I can not see any information in Quick books or CaptialOnTap where it was configured!

Automatic rules are not applied, so I have to manually adjust every transaction to specify the account it relates to.

There is definitely no such integrations now, I've checked both sides. Which is especially annoying considering their website says "Say goodbye to hours of manual reconciling with unlimited free company cards, receipt tracking and easy accounting integrations with Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, and more."
