missing transactions

Hello Mp196920160

Thanks for posting on the Community. If your transaction relates to sales income (from a client or customer) you can enter this using a sales receipt (+ new > sales receipt). Purchases made can be entered using an expense (+ New > Expense). For any other income, you can record this using a bank deposit (+ New > Bank deposit) - here, select the payment account and date that the money was received, and scroll to 'add funds to this deposit' to complete the transaction details.

If you have any further queries, please get back to us below. :)

No need to apologize, Mp196920160! QuickBooks can be overwhelming at first, but I'm here to help you navigate through it.

The New option should be seen right after you log in to your QuickBooks Online account. This option allows you to create new transactions, such as invoices, bills, and expenses. It could be an unusual behavior.

Your browser may be experiencing an issue. It happens when a browser store information about the websites you have visited in a local cache. To fix it, we can perform the steps below.

  1. Log in to your QBO in an incognito window. A private window can help QuickBooks work efficiently.
    Google Chrome: Ctrl Shift
Mozilla: Firefox and Microsoft Edge: Ctrl Shift P
    Safari: Command Shift N
  2. Clear the cache. It gives your browser a fresh start.
  3. Use other support browsers.

To ensure that your transactions are categorized correctly, you can try reviewing your transaction history and manually assigning categories to each transaction.

Additionally, you can also check if there are any rules or filters set up that may be causing the transactions to be categorized incorrectly: Set up bank rules to categorise online banking transactions in QuickBooks Online.

Don't hesitate to post again if you have follow-up concerns about transactions. Take care and stay safe.
