My accountant has merged with another one. I want both to have access to my account - how do I go about it ?

We can add up to two accountants in any QBO version, wellhallflorist. I can provide detailed steps to help you add and manage account users in your QuickBooks Online company file.

You can invite and allow both accountant users to access your data so they can review your books and collaborate on any financial issues. Thus, to guide you through the process, refer to these steps:

  1. Sign in to QBO as a primary admin and go to Settings. Then, select Manage Users.
  2. On the Accountants tab, click Invite and enter their name and email address.
  3. Once done, select Save.

They'll receive an email invitation with instructions on accepting it and a link to access your company data if they already have QuickBooks Online Accountant. Once they accept, the status on the Manage Users page will change from Invited to Active.

In case your accountant didn't receive any of your email invitations, you can refer to this guide for more detailed tips: What to do if invited users did not receive your email invitation in QuickBooks Online.

I'll always be around in this thread if you require additional assistance managing account users in your file. Just let me know in the comments below. Take care and have a good one!
