Hi,welcome to the Community Hello64
Can we confirm when you say your credit card is a positive figure do you owe money on your credit card or are you in credit on it?As the credit card is a liability to the business if you do owe money on the card it will show as you owe money in QB. That amount owed would reduce as payments were paid off the card.
Could you provide a screen shot of the credit card account history(accounting>chart of accounts>account history) and we can check it is set up okay. You can black out anything you do not want to be seen.

Thanks - so, I DO owe money on my credit card. Quickbooks shows a negative balance (which is correct?). However, my bank's balance is showing as POSITIVE in Quickbooks. Screen shot attached. Note the account isn't reconciled so I'm not expecting correct figures, just for them to be shown correctly. Thanks
Hey hello64,
It is correct that the balance on the credit card will show as negative as this is a liability account showing the balance owed. The bank account is an asset account and will show the balance as a positive amount. When you pay off the credit card fully, the balance will show as 0.00.
Thanks
