Paypal connection won't reconnect. I've gone through the reconnect process 5 times and the 'connected' screen appears at the end yet it still says connection expired.

Hello Freshnessonlypay,

Welcome to the Community page,

Are you getting any error messages or codes when you try to do the reconnection?

Are you doing this on a web browser if so which one or on the app?

I am having this exact same issue. The only error message that is shown is at the beginning of the connection process where it says this way of connecting has expired (350) and I have to log in again. I am using firefox on my computer. Please let us know how to solve this, thanks. I tried disconnecting Paypal on the paypal end. When I attempted to reconnect it seems to still have me logged into paypal on the QB side so I logged out in the quickbooks pop up and logged in again to go through verification. Still doesn't work.

Let's perform some browser troubleshooting steps to isolate the error. To start, run your QuickBooks Online (QBO) company using a private browser. Private mode prevents storing cache and cookies that might cause problems when running websites.

Here are the shortcut keys you can use:

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Edge: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: press Command + Shift + N

Once signed in, reconnect Paypal again.

If this works, go back to your regular browser and clear the cache. This will remove the stored cache or cookies to refresh your browser. If the same thing happens, use another supported browser. It could be that the one you're currently using has a temporary issue with QuickBooks.

If the issue persists, I recommend contacting our technical support team to further check what's interrupting the connection between Paypal and QuickBooks.

Here's how to contact them:

  1. At the top right, click the Help icon.
  2. Select Contact Us.
  3. Under What can we help you with?, enter Error 350.
  4. Click Let's Talk.
  5. You'll be routed into the Choose a way to connect with us page.
  6. Choose Get a callback or Start a chat

When Paypal is connected, to review each downloaded transactions, you have to categorise and match them into QuickBooks Online.

You can always get back here if you have other concerns or questions about connecting accounts in QBO. I'll be here to help you. Stay safe.
