I've tried connecting our Barclays Card to QB online (several times), but no luck. I really don't want to have to manually enter each charge. I've not had problems linking any of the other cards. Help!
In the meantime, the issue may be on the bank's end. Sign in to your bank’s website to check for messages, notifications, or alerts. Any announcements or new security requirements can block QuickBooks from connecting your financial institution.
If everything looks good, go back to QuickBooks and connect the account to online banking again. Let me show you how:
Go to Banking.
Select Connect from the landing page, or select Add account if you already have an account.
Search for your bank and select Continue. Read through the terms and conditions, then select Agree.
Follow the steps on your bank's internet banking page to authorise QuickBooks to connect to your bank account. Once you authorise the connection, you’ll be redirected back to QuickBooks.
Select the bank accounts you want to connect, and which accounts they will link to in QuickBooks.
If you're still unable to connect your bank, you need to download transactions. Then, manually import them to QuickBooks. After that, you're ready to categorise and add them to your register.
