I started a reconciliation today and have messed it up, so I would like to start over but how can I restart or delete?
Thanks for any help.

Hello Susanhope, thanks for coming back to us, since you said its unfinished the reconcile, you can just resume reconciling (Cog > Reconcile > Select account on drop-down > Resume reconciling) and click the drop-down beside Save for later > Close without saving to get rid so you can start again.
Hello Susanhope, Thanks for reaching out about starting your reconciliation from scratch. If you have clicked finish on the reconciliation and it has moved to the next month (or whatever the next period, you use is) The only way to then restart it would be to undo that period of reconciliation. That is something that only an accountant user of QuickBooks can do.
If you have not clicked finish and have just ticked somethings which should not be there or entered the wrong end date/end balance let us know and we can go through how to amend those with you.
Thank you and no I have not clicked finished on this and this is my first one.
I will attempt whatever you recommend in the morning as I have to go out now. Thanks again :)
Yesterday you said "If you have not clicked finish and have just ticked somethings which should not be there or entered the wrong end date/end balance let us know and we can go through how to amend those with you."
Please can you now tell me what steps to go through?
Thanks

Thank you so much, that did it :)
