I want to make sure you can connect your Starling Bank account, amazon-mootech-c.
If it's a new connection, I recommend validating the credentials first on the financial institution’s website. Once verified, try connecting your bank account again to your QuickBooks Online account. You can follow the detailed steps outlined in this article: How to connect your bank account & credit cards.
If you receive an error message if you can follow the steps in this guide to resolve it.
Once your bank account is connected and downloads transaction, you can now review and categorise your transactions.
Keep me posted if you the steps in the help article do not resolve the connection issue or if you have any other banking concerns. I'm always here to help.

Thanks for the guidance @GlinetteC. Though when going through your approach I found that this was a browser issue. I am on an iPad Pro so when I was doing this through safari browser i was getting the nil response. As soon as I switched to Chrome it seemed to work.
Maybe something for the tech team to have a look at.
It's a nightmare. I regularly am asked to disconnect and reconnect. With theStarling connection, there is always a problem. Starling says there is a connection but nothing shows when I log in to QuickBooks.
I have wasted hours of my life over this.
yeah, newbie here, didn't realise how terrible QB was to be honest...
They also can't pull through transaction data from more than the start of the current year (not financial year) - yet Zoho does this absolutely fine?
Hello Badger21, Welcome to the Community and thank you for using QuickBooks. We'd like to improve your experience of using QuickBooks banking. So QuickBooks is a third party connecting to the bank and some banks only allow us to import the past 90 days of transactions in to the account. You can import csv file upload of the rest of the transactions, this article will help you with that. We have many resources to help new customers use Quickbooks like webinars and Blogs. We're happy to help with any questions here or on our chat support and also our phone support to which is open mon to fri 8am to 7pm and is free from any UK landline or mobile.
The 90 day thing would make sense but I'm only seeing transactions from Jan 23 - there were transactions all the way through December that should still be showing up....The 90 day limit wasn't mentioned on the support calls I've had so far...
Hi badger21, did you see an option to enter a date to begin downloading the transactions from during the initial connection? What is downloaded from the bank depends on how the bank releases the transactions, so this can vary between providers. 🙇:female_sign:
Thanks, yeah I did see the box to select a specific date - which I did (start of my FY in March 22) - however it still doesn't work.
I've raised a call with Starling myself now to see if this is an issue their end, but tbh I would have expected QB to do this for me as I'm just the customer trying to get something that should work, working....
