I can't add monzo account

Hello Simon-search-sur, thanks for posting on the Community page, what exactly happens when you try to add the Monzo account? Are you getting any error messages or codes come up? Is it a reconnection or a new connection your trying to do? Are you doing it on a mobile or pc/laptop?

I can't add monzo account

Greetings, @Simon. We appreciate you getting back to us and providing more information about what happened when you connected the Monzo bank to QuickBooks. Allow me to chime in and share some troubleshooting steps so you'll be able to connect with your bank.

Normally, the app stores a cache to speed up your experience in performing your tasks. Once it's full of cache, your system may experience some unusual responses that's why you're unable to add your bank.

To fix the problem, let's try resetting your app data. This is similar to clearing caches from a web browser. Doing this refreshes the app storage and improves its performance. Feel free to follow the steps I've listed below.

In the QuickBooks Online app:

  • Android: From More Options ⋮, select Settings, then click Refresh Data. Choose Yes.
  • iOS: Go to Menu ☰, Click Help & Feedback, and select Refresh Data. Then, click Refresh.

In your device Settings:

  • Android: Go to Settings, select Apps (varies by device), and choose the QuickBooks app from the list. Then, select Storage and select Clear Data.
  • iOS: From your device's Settings, select Setting General iPhone Storage and choose the app. Then, select Offload App.

Once done, add the Monzo bank again, you may follow the steps in this article: Add an account to your chart of accounts in QuickBooks Online. However, if the issue persists, I'd suggest logging into your account using a web browser and adding your bank account from there.

Furthermore, here are some articles to help you connect your bank to online banking, uploading transactions manually, and learn the reconciliation process to ensure all your data inside QBO stays accurate:

If you have any additional questions or concerns about managing a bank account connected to QBO, do let me know. I'm always willing to assist. Take care.
