I have the same problem. Tried 3 different machines and different browsers, but still get the error 355 with AMEX UK. This has been since 13/10/2023.
Do you have any other solutions?
I have the exact same issue with my Amex accounts. No updates since the 13/10/23 and shows error code 355. Hopefully there is a resolution soon.
Hello Chelleon and HM-Bookkeepers-Uk, thanks for posting on the Community page, Error 355: The bank connection isn't working.
In this case, the link between QuickBooks and your bank isn't working as expected. Usually, QuickBooks will try to retrieve banking transactions; however, if the bank isn't responding, this error will show.
To fix this:
1. Go to Transactions.
2. Select Bank transactions
3. Select the affected bank account and select Update.

I'm also getting the error 355 mentioned in the previous messages and tried the proposed fix and the issue remains.
Is there any other solution to this issue?

We've opened an investigation for the 355 error with AMEX bank today as we can see this is now impacting multiple users.
The reference for this is INV-94273 - if you would like to be added to this for email updates, please reply back below.
In the meantime, if you urgently need to update your account, please consider uploading transactions via CSV.
