Hi All
I have a working connection with PayPal Bank when using my windows pc. However when trying to make connection with the QB app on my android phone I get error 108. There is no message of any kind in my PayPal account.
Is it possible to have a working connection from both phone app and windows app?
Thanks in advance.
It's definitely possible to have both banking connection in the app and web version of QBO, Jim1954.
Although, it looks like this can either be an app or a mobile device issue since you mentioned that it's working on your Windows pc. I'll share some steps with you that can resolve common app issues.
First, make sure to update both your mobile device OS and the QBO app itself.
Second, clear the app's data in your mobile device's settings.
Clearing the app's data can be done on the app or on your phone settings. The instructions are outlined below:
Once done, go back to your PayPal Bank and check if the connection is already working fine.

Thanks for reply. Unfortunately not working for me, cleared data still same error. Tried reinstalling app in my phone same error.
I get a message on screen that Quickbooks is talking to Paypal then message error 108. PC version works perfectly.
Hi Jim1954, thanks for testing that - are you connected to Paypal (for UK users) and do you experience the same error on the app on both mobile 4G and WiFi connection?
Hi.
Does not connect if using WiFi or 4G.
Could the problem be due to my enabling 2 step log in on my PayPal account?
Hello Jim, can you try connecting your Paypal account on a web browser instead of the app and let us know how you get on please.
Hi
As in my first post all works fine from a Web browser.
The problem occurs when trying to connect from an android phone.
I guess I will have to give up on this working.
Thanks anyway.
So you will need to do the connection on the web browser once this is done ti will then show as connected on the app. Sometimes it does not allow you to do the connection on the app that is why it is best to do the connection on the web browser instead.
Some confusion here.
PayPal shows connected when accessing Quickbooks from a Web browser but does not show connected on my android phone app.
Tried all the suggestions here but if I try to connect PayPal via the android app it refuses to connect and give error 108.
Clearly the app has an issue.
I will discontinue using the app and stay with the Web version which works flawlessly.
