Up until yesterday I was able to upload bank statement items into my QuickBooks 2013 desktop bank reconciliation section. I received the error message to contact QuickBooks Technical Support if the error persisted.
The file is created from my Barclays Bank account as usual as a .QBO type file.
Any assistance in how I can rectify this situation would be appreciated.
Many Thanks

Hi Rodella
You are unable to import bank statements into QuickBooks Desktop version, you can manually enter the transaction, we do however appreciate this may be an arduous task if you have high number to input.
Welcome to the Community Andrew.
QuickBooks Desktop 2013 isn't actively supported by the care team, I will look into this for you to see if I can find any information regarding the bank sync for this version. Could you include a screenshot of the message please.
Error message received
Hello there, @Rodella.
Thanks for providing a screenshot of the error message when importing banking data and your QuickBooks Desktop version. There are several possible reasons this issue occurs:
Importing a .QBO file is no longer supported in your QuickBooks version. I recommend upgrading to the latest release. Click this link to know more about our updated pricing and features: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/uk/desktop/.
Once you decide to upgrade, please visit the website above and click the green Buy now & save button. For more information about import issues and troubleshooting solutions, refer to this article: Troubleshoot Bank Feeds Web Connect import issues and errors.
That should answer your concern for today.
Let me know if you need further assistance. I’m more than happy to help. Take care!
Thank you for your response.
However, my immediate problem is not being able to upload the statement in order to complete my May accounts for our Board meeting. I don't have time to set-up a new system at the moment and that is a longer term solution.
Any immediate help would be appreciated. Can I format the file in a new way or import a .CSV file?
Kind regards
Andrew
