Hi all,
So i am trying to prepare my VAT and my bank feed will not update.
I have tried multiple times, and it says there is a connection but an error code 355.
I recently lost my card and cancelled it, and am waiting for a new one so I am not sure if this has an effect, however I am still able to log into my banking online regardless of my card. Can anyone shed any light on this?
Thanks so much
I've got your back, @wesleyharriott.
This error means that only partial info is pulled through from a bank's API, thus throwing account in error state 355. To get this fix, let's run a bank update to refresh the connection.
Before we start, may I ask for the bank account you're trying to reconnect with QuickBooks? Any additional information would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Mark,
Thank you for your thoughts on how to resolve this.
So updating it does not work, the transactions do not update and the balance of my account for some reason sits at zero. When I tried to update my login credentials there is actually no option for me to update sign in info, it just says edit account info.
I have attached an image to show you what I mean.
to answer you prior question, the account is a HSBC business account.
Thanks so much,
Ricky

The stored cache can affect the performance of QuickBooks which can cause unexpected behavior. Let’s perform some basic troubleshooting steps to make sure the issue isn’t browser-related. It’s possible that local internet cache files are the reason why don't get the Edit sign-in info button.
Let’s start logging in to QuickBooks using a private window. Here’s how:
Then, go back to the Banking menu and check the button from there. If it shows, you need to clear your browser’s cache. Here’s an article to help you with the process: How do I clear my browser cache and temporary Internet files?
