Refresh Bank Feed

Dear Team
I use Quick Book Self Employed.
My bank feed is not updating. Can someone advise on how I update it?
I have tried refreshing but that doesn't work (on the bank page where it says refresh all).
My bank is connected and doesn't need to be verified before Jan '24.
I use Safari Chrome browser
Your help is much appreciated.
It would be so much easier to navigate if there was a 'refresh bank transactions button' for us not so technically minded :)

Refresh Bank Feed

I appreciate the steps you've performed, AbFab. I'll share additional information to get your bank feeds updated.

 

Let's start by logging into your bank website to check for any alerts and notifications that may prevent the bank feed from updating. In the meantime, you can manually upload your bank transaction. Here's how:

 

  1. Go to Transactions, then select Bank Transactions.
  2. Select the Link account dropdown, then select Upload from the file.
  3. Select Drag and drop or select files and select the file you downloaded from your bank. Then, select Continue.
  4. In the QuickBooks Account dropdown, choose the account to upload the transactions, then select Continue.
  5. Follow the onscreen steps to match the columns on the file with the correct fields in QuickBooks. Then select Continue.
  6. Select the transactions you would like to import. Then select Continue.
  7. Select Yes and Done.

If the issue continues, I recommend contacting our Technical Support team for further investigation. They have the necessary tools to pull up your account and can do screen-sharing in a secure environment.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Click the Help menu in the upper-right-hand corner.
  2. Proceed to the Assistant tab.
  3. Type "contact support" into the chat box and press Enter.
  4. Select QuickBooks Online Support, then click Contact Us at the bottom of the screen.
  5. Click Ask about something else, then enter a short description of your concern.
  6. Choose between Have us call you or Start a Chat.
