Santander users - I’m missing 2 months of transactions in Quickbooks. I have the instructions how to do it but with Santander you can only download as XLS, QIF, PDF or TXT.
Tried TXT but doesn’t work as it gives me message; ‘your file does not contain the three required columns…’ Well txt files don’t have tables in them? Any ideas how to download the statements to quick? Thank you
Good day, MattB.
Let me help you by making sure you'll be able to download statements to QuickBooks Online.
This error occurs when the mapping of your CSV file is incorrect. Make sure to use a supported file type and format to successfully bring your bank statements into QuickBooks Online (QBO).
QuickBooks Online supports 2 CSV formats (3/4 columns) when manually uploading bank transactions. The former has the Date, Description, and Amount. While the latter contains the following information: Date, Description, Credit, and Debit column.
3 column format
4 column format
