Some of my transactions are showing as zero payments when they shouldn't be, how do i correct this?

Some of my transactions are showing as zero payments when they shouldn't be, how do i correct this? I have deleted csv and uploaded it again but it still comes up as some transactions showing zero.

Welcome to the Community, @hynesphoto.

 

You'll have to make sure that the format of your CSV file matches the columns in QuickBooks. And I'd be glad to share with you the correct formatting when uploading transactions and help you from there.

 

You can follow the correct formatting below to proceed:

 

  • Check if the file has blank lines if it does delete them.
  • Make sure to select the column header labels (from the dropdowns) that match the column header labels in your CSV file.
  • Your CSV file should contain the following information: Date, Description and Amount.

Once done, review the column headers and data. Then, upload your transactions again and double-check the amount of the payment.
