Let me explore various scenarios to better assist you on where you would like to change your bank account, @sbarnett97.
If you wish to update your bank account information at the bank center, you can easily link a new bank account and disconnect the old one. Here's how to connect a new account:
- Go to Transactions and select Bank transactions, then Link Account.
- Choose your bank and click Let’s Go.
- Review the terms and conditions and click Agree.
- Click Sign in and have your online banking credentials, then enter the details.
- After that, choose the account you wish to link with QuickBooks.

For an additional guide about the process, check out this reference: Connect bank and credit card accounts to QuickBooks.
If you need to change the bank account used for employee payroll payments, you can easily update it within the Payroll Settings in QuickBooks Online Advanced Payroll. And if you want to modify your employee's bank account, here's how:
- From Payroll, go to Employees and select the employee you need to modify.
- In the Bank Account, choose the Account type and enter the following details.
- If done, hit Save.

And if you're using QuickBooks Online Core Payroll, note that it is only used for recording purposes. Therefore, you can process payments to your employees outside of QBO, eliminating the need to change the bank account within the platform.
