We can perform some troubleshooting steps to help you connect your bank, mail55.
To start, could you provide the name of your bank or any error message you received? Sharing this information will enable us to understand the problem better and find the most effective resolution.
In the meantime, I suggest logging into your bank’s website to check for any issues with your account credentials, security prompts, or account status. Ensure that their system is operating correctly and not undergoing maintenance.
Once everything looks good on the bank's end, attempt to reconnect your bank account in QuickBooks. Make sure to manually input your login details instead of copying, pasting, or using saved information. You can find detailed instructions here: Connect bank and credit card accounts to QuickBooks Self-Employed.
In the meantime, you can manually upload your transactions using a CSV file. Here’s how:
- Go to the Profile ⚙ icon and select Imports.
- Choose Import older transactions.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to upload your CSV file.
- Select Continue to complete the import.

To learn more about adding transactions manually from a CSV file and review what you imported, refer to this article: Manually import transactions into QuickBooks Self-Employed.
