Why does quickbooks says an item is uncleared but it is matched and reconciled and showing as cleared on the bank reconciliation

Hi kwas, thanks for your post - this does sound unusual, do the transactions show when going to reconcile the account (Cog > Reconcile > Enter the same ending date and ending balance as the last reconciliation > begin reconciling)? 

Thanks for replying :) No, they aren't there.... its very odd, i wouldn't have even know had I not gone through the bookkeeping checks in working papers.

The behavior you're experiencing with your bank transactions shows uncleared status but when clicking it, it appears to be cleared on the reconciliation window is a unique case. Thus, I suggest contacting our QuickBooks Care Team so they can handle this in a secure environment and help come up with a permanent fi on this.

1. Go to the Help menu at the upper right.
2. Type in your concern.
