2. Go to Products and services.
3. Select the item, then click Edit.
4. Enter the serial number in the Item/Service code field.

But when I am trying to check out. It won’t let me search with the serial number

Basically trying to use as Epos for my retail shop, Will you recommend this as epos ?

when I download the app on ipad and search using then serial number I added. The product can’t be found?

Hello Meet-stylomobile, When you are searching for the item service code are you using the magnifying glass r is this in the invoice itself when you enter the code you set it does not appear? Or are you referring to the third party app you connected not being able to search in there?

When I enter service code in the product, from the computer

then I expect my staff to create sales receipt upon a sale, they add the number in the search when adding the product to sales receipt, but in the tablet the item code does not show in search.

If you're trying to search the code from the Epos, you might need to add this product to your list so it will show when searching from the app.

You can search for an item using a code through the Products and Services section.

However, if you're trying to search the code using the Advanced Search feature in QuickBooks Online, this will only allow you to find a specific transaction type and not by item codes.

Here's how to search a specific transaction:

1. Click the Magnifying glass icon at the top and hit Advanced Search.
   
   
2. Select Sales Receipts and click Search.
3. Choose a date from the Date Filter.
4. Hit Apply.
   
   
5. You'll find all Sales Receipts from there.
