Hello Pa-canova
We need a bit more information about what you need to extract. Are you their accountant? Are you referring to the long number that is used to identify which product they have with the phone support or is it actual transactions, like invoices ,sales receipts you are looking to export from the QuickBooks Online package?
Thank you
Hello,
I am the owner of my QB account.
I am referring to the number shown in the url "https://xxxxxxxx/app/customerdetail?nameId=7". I think you call it name Id.
What I want to extract is in an extract :
client A Invoice 10 ID name = 5 Amount = 100€
client A Invoice 11 ID name = 5 Amount = 120€
client B Invoice 66 ID name = 10 Amount = 100€
I notice there are 55 fields of invoice data in QBO, including RefNumber, Customer, and LineAmount. I didn't see any field related to certain ID. Utilize this exporter tool and filter any data field you want to extract.

Hope it helps.
Hi,
Thanks for your reply.
However you I use Zapier I can extract this "ID" so it should be there.
Thanks for getting back to us, pa-canova.
You can locate this customer's name ID in QuickBooks Online in just a few steps: Here's how:

Thanks a lot for this feeback! Really useful :)
And is there a way to extract all the database @GlinetteC ? I would like to have the all list :)
Thanks a lot
@GlinetteC , I have the same question as @pa-canova from Dec 2019. I need a list of customers with their QBO ID (aka NameID) not just the current list, but I then need the ID as new customers are created. Is there a way to view this information other than in the individual URLs (it's rather time-consuming to pull each one).
Hi there, karoldixondelao.
Thanks for checking out the Community space.
Currently, this functionality is unavailable in QuickBooks Online. For now, you can go to the Customers tab or pull up the Customer Contact List report. Then, open each customer profile from there and copy the name ID in the URL. Here's how:
I can understand that this process can be time-consuming. Rest assured, I'll take note of your ideas and suggestions to help improve your QuickBooks experience.
In addition, here's an article that you can read to help organize and keep track of your customers: Add and manage customers.
Do let me know in the comment section if you any other concerns or follow-up questions. I'll be more than happy to help you again.
Do you even understand how comical you sound, let alone make your whole company sound with this "advice"?
Wow.
Literally, the field is right there in the database; the fact that you choose to keep it hidden in both QBO and QBD is malicious and keeps your users reliant on your reports given that it is so difficult to bridge your troubled data hierarchies without primary and foreign keys! Not to mention that you cap the amount of our own data that we can take out of our own software via CSV, and impose artificial constraints on how much data the SDK can handle?! Why have you gone so far out of your way to weaken our ability to self-serve within our databases? Surely not because you are making a surcharge on our backs from the "third-party" developers that we are forced to deal with in order to be able to get around your handicaps?
@karoldixondelaosign up for a Developer account and you can get direct access to your backend. Don't be intimidated by the code aspect, all stuff you can google.

I was able to find an un elegant solution to this, should anyone be interested. It requires copying all the customers from the customer list and then using an app script in Google sheets to extract the data.
happy to chat through but your email address didn't come through.
What app script?
