How do i put "all sales" back to classic view instead of this new ridiculous format?

Hi there. I'm here to share some information about the new view of the All Sales page in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Currently, the option to switch the All Sales page back to the classic view is unavailable. That said, I recommend sending feedback to our product engineers by selecting the Feedback button on the page. Here's how:

  1. Select the Bookkeeping menu and select the Transactions tab.
  2. Next, click the Feedback icon beside Sales transactions.
  3. From there, enter detailed information about your comments and suggestion about the new view. Example: Want to go back to the All Sales classic view.
  4. Click Submit when done.

Additionally, it's also easy to view sales transactions in QBO by going to the Sales page.

I'll be right here to provide additional assistance if you have other concerns managing your sales menu in QBO. Have a good one and stay safe.

How do i put "all sales" back to classic view instead of this new ridiculous format?

Hi

The WHOLE thing is now a mess...

I cant even see what invoices payments were allocated to when looking in payment history... why have they done this?

Impossible to work with, i am going to have to find a new accounting package!

Regards

Hello there, James. I know how important it is to view what payments are allocated to the invoices to easily track your income. No worries, I got here the steps to ensure you're able to see them in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

On the new All Sales page, you can use the available filters to extract the details you need. To do so, select Money received under Type to show only the invoice payments. Here's how:

  1. Click the Sales menu and select All Sales.
  2. From there, choose Money received under Type, select the correct date range, and choose the customer if needed.
  3. Once done, you'll see the list of invoice payments for that period.
  4. To check what invoice is allocated, you have to open them manually.

Another option is to run a report to view the payments allocated to the invoices. To do so, refer to the steps below:

  1. Select the Reports menu and scroll down to the Who owes you section.
  2. Next, click the Invoices and Received Payments report.
  3. Set the correct report period date and add a filter if needed by selecting the Customise button.
  4. Once done, refresh the page.
  5. From there, you'll see the list of each payment as well as the invoices to which they are applied.

I'm always here ready to lend a hand if you have other concerns managing your sales menu in QBO. Have a good one and stay safe
