In my Weekly Timesheet, I want to choose a project from the list. It was working OK last week, but I cannot do this anymore as it only shows customers now. Is this a bug?

I have set up customers and projects in QuickBooks, but as of this week the list of options in my weekly timesheet now only shows the customers. I need to record times under projects as I am running multiple projects per customer. A workaround is to copy times in from last week's timesheet - which seems to work OK. Is this a bug in QuickBooks which will be fixed soon, or do I need to change how I record my timesheets in future?

Issues like this can occur as a result of your browser storing too much history data. We can get rid of them in a few simple steps. To rule out the potential of a webpage issue, try accessing your account through an incognito window. You can refer to these shortcut keys to open an incognito window in all supported browsers:

 

  • Chrome: Ctrl+Shift+N
  • Firefox: Ctrl+Shift+P
  • Safari: Command+Shift+N

 

Once logged in , try to perform what you were trying to do earlier. If it works, clear your browser's cache. This way, you can access QuickBooks with a clean slate.

 

You can also consider using other supported browser to see if it has something to do with your browser.

 

If issue persist, you can consider contacting our support team. This way, a representative can investigate your account to determine the cause of this problem.

Thanks, that solved the problem!

I tested using an incognito window as you suggested, and once I found that worked OK I then cleared all my QuickBooks cookies.
